Research methodology: challenge for university teachers

Abstract

The proposal is made in the Faculty of Administrative and Economic Sciences of the International University of Ecuador extension Loja, Lauro Guerrero Military College and some local companies, it is about applying in an adequate way, guidelines for the development of research projects, which generate significant results and allow students to put into practice acquired knowledge, carry out a research process, and at the same time, contribute to the Lojana society, in the awareness of the solution of problems that afflict their daily life. In this context, we work on the subject of research methods, various projects, during the academic period October 2016 - February 2017, with the participation of 30 students.


As a work strategy, two matrices were applied: consistency or quadric, which establishes the connection and relation between key elements and phases, when starting a research project, facilitating the researcher, to take an order and sequence, in it; and the matrix for the development of the data collection instrument. As a result, three projects were completed.
